In June, the SUNY Board of Trustees approved an Electronic and Information Technology (EIT) Accessibility Policy requiring each SUNY institution to develop a policy and plan for achieving the goal of electronic accessibility within their respective campus. As a result of this policy, Hudson Valley Community College will be convening an EIT Accessibility Committee to guide the college in its development of an EIT Accessibility Policy.
DeAnne Martocci, director of the Center for Access and Assistive Technology, will chair the EIT Accessibility Committee that will include representatives from across the campus community.
